Analysis
The Liu IDs have been struggling to make their mark when it comes to Burn teams, except for Liu Ishmael. With Magic Bullet Outis somehow salvaging Burn and Liu Ryoshu and Rodion finally giving Liu decent IDs with good coin effects and clash power, Burn is slightly on the rise. Not as much as Poise or Bleed, but better than what it once was.
Liu Rodion is a powerhouse of an ID, with all her skills being buffed if the enemy has a sufficient amount of Burn. Her skills go from rolling 11, 16, 16, to 15, 22, and 20 respectively when all conditions are fulfilled.
Her skills inflict decent Burn all around, with her Skill 2 notable for being able to inflict Burn Count to keep Burn going for as much as possible. Her skill 3 inflicts a lot of damage, and she can even get bonus Wrath damage on enemies, but it's capped at 30, so it's good as a cherry on top but not something whose damage you should rely on.
Her passive synergizes well with other Burn IDs, especially those with Wrath skills. She also gives bonus buffs to IDs from Liu. Though, you may want to think carefully as to whether it's worth bringing the other Liu IDs such as Meursault, Gregor, and Hong Lu, as they suffer from being launch or early IDs really bad, and it shows with how their clashing is mediocre or outright bad.
Overall, Liu Rodion is a solid addition to any Burn comp with decent clashing skills that become even stronger if her enemies have a good amount of Burn.
Pros
- Has decent application of both Burn Potency and Count.
- Skill 1 can roll a 15, the highest possible in terms of clash power.
- Passive can buff allies, and give an additional buff for other Liu IDs in the team.
- Great rolls for skills, power can be boosted even further if enemies have enough Burn.
Cons
- -Skill 3's bonus damage is capped at 30.
- -Needs to be ran alongside other dedicated Burn IDs, and most of the other Liu IDs are not as good.
